ind out Karan Johar’s advice for ‘Dhadak’ stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter – Apart from launching Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra five years ago, ace filmmaker Karan Johar has given many talented newcomers to Bollywood. This year too, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter are all set to make their big Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Dhadak.
But before the young duo make their entry on the silver screen, their mentor Karan Johar has some advice for them. As the new year has set in, Karan penned down an emotional letter and advised Ishaan and Janhvi to enjoy every stage of their career to the fullest.
During a radio show, Karan read the note. He said, “It’s a new year which means new beginnings and time for new relationship goals. Dear Janhvi and Ishaan, you are going to embark on a new journey of stardom this year. You will face many firsts in 2018 from promotion to paparazzi to link-ups and trolling to fame and failures. You are going to see it all.”
“Through all of this, I just want to remind you to not take yourself too seriously and absorb every new experience because these initial days will never come back again. Janhvi, Ishaan your best qualities are that you all are still students,” added Karan.
Interestingly, Karan advised Ishaan and Janhvi to not take themselves too seriously. “That you both really stand by your beliefs and the fact that you really don’t take yourself as seriously as I sometimes think you should. I love the fact that you are still vulnerable and innocent, please hold onto that,” said Karan.
Dhadak, which is a remake of Marathi film Sairat, is slated to release in July this year.
