It’s grand start to the day as Deepika Padkone’s first look for Sanjay Leela Bhansali film ‘Padmavati’ is out.

It’s the first poster for the film where Deepika is seen as ‘the Goddess Queen’ and looks like royalty from head to toe. From the heavy jewellery to a regal outfit and even the uni-brow, it’s a stunning transformation for Deepika in yet another period film with Bhansali. The men in the film, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are missing from the poster, but cheered for their Queen and tweeted the posters on early Thursday morning. They definitely couldn’t give us a better start for the day.

It’s a role of a lifetime for Deepika Padukone will be seen as Rani Padmini, while Shahid Kapoor is playing her husband, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. Ranveer Singh is going to be seen in a negative role as he plays Alauddin Khilji.

The first poster also clears all confusion about the film’s release date as well. The poster trashes reports about the film releasing in February next year and confirms the film’s release date being locked for December 1, 2017. It’s the most awaited film of the year, after all every time Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone team up for a Bhansali film it is nothing less than a blockbuster. Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela was the first 100 crore hit for the trio. They broke their own records when they teamed up the second time in Bajirao Mastani. This time they also have Shahid Kapoor for company in the film and audience can’t wait to see Bhansali create magic on the big screen once again.
