Jennifer Lawrence Finally Speaks About Her Private Pics Leak
After being targeted thrice by web hackers, Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has finally spoken about her nude photo leak scandal. Jennifer Lawrence’s private pics have been hacked and leaked online since August 31 and in all the three leaks that occurred within a month, Jennifer Lawrence was targeted.
Although her rep has spoken about it and released a statement as well, Jennifer Lawrence finally spoke about the celebrity nude pics leak scandal that effected her a lot. Gracing Vanity Fair’s November issue, Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about her photo leak, why she clicked them, how she broke the news too her father etc. Speaking about the hacked nude photos in the cover story of Vanity Fair, JLaw said,”It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting.”
“Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this,” the Hunger Games star said. “It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world,” Jennifer Lawrence added.
Revealing why she clicked these pics, JLaw said, “I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at hot or he’s going to look at you.”
Talking about the people who saw and shared it, JLaw said they should be ashamed. “Anybody who looked at those pictures, you’re perpetuating a sexual offense. You should cower with shame. Even people who I know and love say, ‘Oh, yeah, I looked at the pictures.’ I don’t want to get mad, but at the same time I’m thinking, I didn’t tell you that you could look at my naked body,” she said.
So how did she feel when she had to break the news to her father? “When I have to make that phone call to my dad and tell him what’s happened…I don’t care how much money I get for The Hunger Games,” she says. “I promise you, anybody given the choice of that kind of money or having to make a phone call to tell your dad that something like that has happened, it’s not worth it,” Jennifer said in the cover story of the magazine.
This is the first time Jennifer spoke about the nude photo leak after a 4chan user posted images of stars including JLaw, Ariana Grande, Kirsten Dunst and Kate Upton.
