(movies reviews) There is a lot of skin show, kissing scenes and concepts like fuck buddy, threesome and sadism are also thrown in. It is all quite superficial but Love Games is not raunchy per se.
Patralekha‘s saucy transformation in Love Games from a docile domesticated woman in Citylights had made a lot of people deeply interested in the film. The trailer left a lot to everyone’s imagination with a hint of lust, love, threesome and some Cruel Intentions. But is it really worth a ticket? Our critic Urmimala Banerjee, who’s watching the film right now, found it superficial but not raunchy as of now.
Urmi says, “Vikram Bhatts Love Games is a story of two filthy rich individuals addicted to a life of lust, drugs and sex. We are introduced to Ramona (Patralekha) a widow who loves to have fun with her toy boy Sameer Khanna (Gaurav Arora) who has his inner demons. They love to slide under the sheets at every given opportunity. Clearly, both the actors have said bye to all their inhibitions before coming on board. It is Patralekha who initially makes a mark with her sex addict act. Newcomer Gaurav Arora has screen presence and expressive eyes, which are suited for the screwed up character he plays.
The film is slightly corny especially some of the dialogues but the core is pretty decent. It has a story that moves at a crisp pace. It is quite predictable though. There is a lot of skin show, kissing scenes and concepts like fuck buddy, threesome and sadism are also thrown in. It is all quite superficial but Love Games is not raunchy per se.”
