From siblings, Saba Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan to hubby dear Kunal Kemmu and even the glamorous stars in the family Kareena Kapoor Khan and legendary actress Sharmila Tagore. Dressed in a bright sparkling red outfit, Bebo stunned everyone with her choice of outfit. Looking straight out of a magazine photoshoot, Bebo slayed in style and almost stole debut author Soha’s thunder.”
But at the event Begum on Pataudi had the sweetest things to say for Soha Ali Khan. Kareena confessed, ” “If there is one person I am in awe of in this family, I think it’s Soha Ali Khan. Whenever I am out on a dinner with Saif and Soha, I am like I am never going to understand this conversation. If Kunal Kemmu can’t, there’s no way that I can.” Furthermore, she added, “Soha has always been so polite and if there’s anyone in the family that we turn to when Amma (Sharmila Tagore) is all worked up, then it’s just one person who can control the situation and it’s Soha.”
Saifeena were in a chatty mood but avoided any question about Taimur. When Bebo was asked about plans for her son’s first birthday, she just laughed and avoided the question.
Speaking about her tryst with writing, Soha had earlier revealed to a news daily, “I was a student of History in college, so we had to write a lot of essays, and since then a lot of people said you write so well, you should write a book some day. Of course, I love reading, but I have always said that there’s a great difference between being a good reader and being able to write.” When the publishers approached her with the proposition to write a book, she started considering it seriously. The publishers came to me with a proposition to publish my book and said that ‘We hear you are intelligent, maybe we could work with you’. At that time, it sounded really daunting, to be able to write 40,000-50,000 words. I didn’t know if I had it in me, so I asked if I could write just one chapter and send it to the editor first. She like them, and so I started writing it and finished a couple of months ago.”
