Urvashi Rautela and Maejor Ali
Urvashi Rautela is all set to go international. The actress who has been shying away from signing films after her dance number, Saara Zamana in Kaabil, may soon collaborate with internationally renowned American record producer, rapper, singer and songwriter, Maejor Ali a.k.a Brandon Green, for a single and a music video, which would be released both in India and the world over. She is also likely to team up with T-series for a forthcoming project, which would have her rendering a voice for a song, written and composed by Maejor. Moreover, Urvashi is said to be in close touch with the rapper, who is eager to host her in LA and has been publicly expressing his affection for her in his tweets.
When contacted, the actress confirmed the news, though she admitted that the process had just begun, “Maejor had expressed a keen desire to collaborate with me in Bollywood for something big that he was planning. He will also be writing and singing my songs for my next film,” she said. Urvashi who recently admitted to being an ardent Justin Bieber fan, said that she had been in touch with Maejor Ali over a period of time, “I have known him for some time now and I adore all his songs, particularly i. More recently, he had been learning Hindi from me and he picked up the language too. I was surprised when he tweeted in Hindi,” she smiled.
According to Urvashi, the rapper and his entire team from LA are expected to fly down to India very soon to have a detailed interaction for the proposed project, “Talks are underway but I cannot reveal the details yet,” she said, adding that Maejor was also looking at exploring India and experiencing the spiritual retreats, “I believe Justin Bieber told him some great things about India and he wants to explore all of them,” she said.
Is she looking forward to flying down to LA soon? “Maejor has extended an invitation to me but I haven’t made up my mind. I think it will happen only after his India visit,” she said.
