After the tiny Super Bowl spot, a new extended trailer for Scarlett Johansson's Ghost in the Shell is here.
The new trailer shows Johansson's cybernetic human Major Motoko Motoko Kusanagi kick some ass and fight the bad guys. But unlike the first trailer, this time, Major is finding out about her origin and is having a hard time understanding it.
The 2:15 minute-long trailer is filled with hologram imagery, stunning visual effects, and beautifully choreographed fight scenes.
The movie is adapted from the popular Japanese manga series of the same name. It later became an anime movie and now we will see the live action version on March 31, 2017.
Ghost in the Shell is directed by Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman). Starring Scarlett Johansson as The Major, Pilou Asbaek of Game of Thrones as Batou, Takeshi Kitano as Chief Daisuke Aramaki, Chin Han as Togusa, Michael Pitt as Kuze, and Juliette Binoche as Dr. Ouelet, the movie has already faced its share of controversy over whitewashing the characters.
